4 Product Skincare Routine
Hi, and welcome to Skincare Sundays!
Finding a skincare routine can feel overwhelming with so many cleansers, toners, serums, and moisturizers to choose from. It can be difficult to know which products are actually worth adding to your routine. Today, I’m sharing the products I personally use, why I love them, and how they fit into my skincare routine. I hope this post gives you a few ideas if you’re looking to simplify your own routine or discover a new favorite product!

1. Step one: medicube zero pore pads
After cleansing, I use medicube’s Zero Pore Pads. Over time, I’ve realized just how clogged my pores can get, and I think the textured side of these pads does a great job of gently exfoliating and helping to clear them out. My skin always feels smoother after using them.
I’ve also tried medicube’s Cleansing Oil, and I really enjoy that one as well. I actually noticed a difference after my very first use, which made me want to keep it in my routine.
A quick cleanser recommendation: My favorite cleanser is La Roche-Posay’s Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. I don’t specifically look for a cleanser made for oily or dry skin because my skin falls somewhere in the middle. I just want something that cleanses my skin without leaving it feeling tight or stripped, and this one does exactly that.

Step Two: Vitamin C serum
The next product I use is a Vitamin C serum. I struggled with acne in high school, and while the breakouts are gone, I was left with some hyperpigmentation. Vitamin C is one of my favorite ingredients because it helps brighten the appearance of my skin and gradually fade the look of dark spots over time.
My favorite is La Roche-Posay Vitamin C12 Serum. I also like that it contains hyaluronic acid to help keep my skin hydrated and salicylic acid, which gently exfoliates and helps keep my pores looking clearer.

Step Three: Moisturizer
The next step in my routine is moisturizer. No matter your skin type, keeping your skin hydrated is so important. My favorite is La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer because it feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling soft without feeling greasy.
I also love that it contains ceramides and niacinamide. Together, these ingredients help support the skin barrier and leave my skin looking smoother and healthier over time.

step four: sunscreen
The last step in my morning routine is sunscreen. After applying my serums and moisturizer, I always finish with SPF to help protect my skin throughout the day.
My favorite is The Ordinary UV Filters SPF 45 Serum. I love that it doesn’t leave a white cast, feels lightweight on my skin, and gives me a healthy, glowy finish without feeling greasy. Since it’s so lightweight, I like to keep it in my purse so I can easily reapply it throughout the day whenever I’m outside.
